While the converter can be manipulated to lock at WOT, it does need to be intentionally done. It does not remain locked under much load at all on the stock tuning. Make sure you have a converter that can handle the abuse locked at WOT if you decide to do it. Shoot me a PM if you'd like instructions on how to set up a manual lock-up switch.
