Installed 2800 Yank Yesterday
It does make a little noise at about 2500 rpm and a load, say about 20-30% throttle and goes away right after letting off the gas or after a it gets above a certain rpm. The noise is hard to describe, kinda like a "tin" sound, similar to a heat shield or something but I have checked them they are secure. Do any of your after marker converters make any noise? .. go back and Double check all the bolts, including the TC's, I like to use Lock tite on EVERYTHING personally... MAKE SURE if all else checks out you don't drive it until you have it checked out by a trans guy.. could also be an internal problem and driving on it could destroy everything.. Trending Topics

Tainted, the only negative you have is that you have a high mileage car. I dont know how trannies react to huge stalls with high miles. That is the only reason to why I could agree with your choice of 2800
I personally dont have a stall, but everytime I see threads about stalls, most people wish they had gone bigger, or have already gone bigger. I will learn from their mistakes and go at least a 3600 stall. You have to remeber it is not only stall size but str also.
