TCI 3000 stall or Yank
versions (though the $525 I expect narrows it right
down).
The TCI 3000 is an efficient, streetable, moderate
performance converter with a known weakness in
the lockup clutch. It's a lower stall speed than most
people stay with.
Yank, you'd have to offer up more of an idea about
which one. And what your motor setup is, and how
much you favor strip / racing / street manners in
proportion. See significantly less complaining about
Yank clutch durability. Efficiency should be about on
a par in the 3200-3500 range, less as you go up from
there. Harder hitting most likely which unless you are
running 2.73s or slicks, you probably don't need.
So which Yank and what kind of car?
