Default How to tell what kind of Automatic
I have a 2001 trans am ws6 what kind of automatic transmission do i most likely have.

If it's the stock trans (meaning no one has converted the car to a different setup) then you have a 100% chance of it being a 4L60E.

Big rectangular shaped pan = 4L60E (which is stock from the factory).
