Default Do I need a tune with a 2500 stall?

I am looking into the Performabuilt 4L60-E stage 1 with the 2500 stall, and was wondering if any additional work was needed after the install like a tune. Thanks.

With a 2500 stall it is unlikely you would need a tune.
Our experience has been that up to about a 3000 its been unnecessary

i wouldnt say its as needed as a cam, but it certainly can make the converter live up to its full potential, i plan on leaving mine in untuned for about a month untill i get my hp tuners when my work's bonus comes in
