Since you are going to spray: Yank PY3400 for the win. I have this converter and it feels super tight around time until you mash it. Yank PY3400 get the vote.

tell you what first visit each site. yank, precision (vig),fuddle, etc... then call them and ask for recomendations, can't hurt right? then figure out your budget an future mod budget then decide. you won't mess up if you do this.

I voted 3600 because it's a daily driver. 3600 will feel great around town, work with almost any cam and is probably the most popular size for a sprayed 346.

Good luck.

I vote SS4000. I had a ST3500 and it was a great converter, but I wanted a little more and the SS4000 fit the bill nicely. It is great around town...very little difference from the 3500 surprisingly....until you mash it. It is a beast and it will let you put in just about any cam you want. Nitrous is a go too. SS4000 FTW!

I have a TCI ME 4500 in my car with 3.73 gears but my car is a motor car. I daily drive it and get about 16-18 mpg city. I would get a 4000 if you are going to spray more than a 100 shot. Either TCI or Yank.

What's your secret for 16-18 MPG city? I know I don't get anywhere close to that.

I voted 3200 because you daily drive so many miles. I had a Yank Y3200 and loved it around town. I would also stick to a mild cam like a TR 224/224 to keep the car liveable.
The key is picking the right parts for a solid combination (especially a good tune), otherwise you will be banging your head against a wall out of frustration.
