i think i am running into the same issue. I have the FLT stage 4 trans with the SS4000 Yank converter. initially it worked great without extensive tuning. I took it into Speed Inc for the trans tune and it ran even better after that.

over the last couple of weeks i have been getting the P0757 code. After talking with FLT i was told to delete the code. The code has been deleted and the trans runs great.....except now the Converter is not locking up when it has been all along.

do you guys think it is a tuning issue or a converter that needs to go back to Yank at this point?

First I would look at the data stream and see if lockup is actually being enabled. Then make that decision , There are many reasons you may not get lockup including engine missfire,

definately makes sense......i am just confused on how it would be working fine and then when the codes are deleted it stops locking up. we even tried locking it up in forth gear via HP Tuners and it wouldnt enable.

Thing is if the PCM was comanding lockup and it didnt happen it should set PO1870 which is why Im inclined to think its a tuning issue of some sort

i am going to take a look at it tonight and see what i can come up with. I am thinking of going back to my tune where i was getting the P0757 code and the converter was locking up to see if it will still work or not.

I will keep you in the loop and let you know what i figure out.

thanks again for your help.

i went back to one of my original tunes and the converter still isnt locking up for me. I have heard some info about the misfire tables but i am unsure of what to set everything at.....the low and high tables are already maxed out....just the mid has some lower restrictions.

if anyone has any recommendations let me know.
