Default slipping tranny

Hello,

I have a 95 Z28 with almost 50,000 miles on it as of now, and ive noticed now when I go WOT the tranny will occasionally slip from 1-2 and almost always slips from 2-3. I do race the car every once and while but other than that I drive it normal on the streets and it shifts fine then, the slipping only occurs during WOT.The tranny feels nowhere how it used to now, could this tranny be on it's way out? Im going to change the fluids soon and see if that helps, but if not what could I be looking at here? Any comments would help alot.

Thanks

well i would change the fluid and also consider changing the PCS while in there . PM me if you do that , But when you change the fluild and you find alot of gray or metalic in pan ,As they say more than a tea spoon full I would skip the PCS return it and finish filter change and drive in the mean time order a new trans check sig,
The PCS is the presure control solenoid.

It might just need a flush. Since its a 1995 and ONLY 50K Very nice!
Could just be old fluid, its worth a try.
