Pro Rachet has an extra shift - problem
I just reinstalled my B&M Pro Rachet shifter and th400 with TCI manual valve body. When I had the transmission in the car last time it had an extra shift required to go from Park to Reverse.
In essence the car required two full pulls of the rachet to go from park to reverse. After the two pulls every gear worked fine and engaged correctly. The shifter is adjusted properly and can move freely from the lever in park and 3rd gear.
The problem I have run into is that upon reinstalling everything in the car, the "extra shift" has moved to somewhere around the 1-2 and 2-3 shift. The car now only takes one pull of the rachet to enter reverse, but two to get into the upper gears.
How do I remedy this issue? What causes this issue? I could accept the extra shift before the drive gears, but I can't be spending time between gears during a run.
Thanks in advance
