Recieved my VIG3600 today, HELP!!!
I recieved my new VIG3600 today, ripped open the box (Very happy), I picked it up, and i heard a "CLUNK" sound from inside of it. What the HELL is that from? Is something internally wrong, or is this normal. Will it go away when fluid is in it? When i put my Yank in (1 year ago) I can't remember if that made the same sound or not. Also, I told "chuck" @ FLP that i wanted a VIG3600 with pump #7, I did recieve the right part number (279715) which matches up with the part number on ThunderRacing's website, which makes it a VIG3600, but how would I know if it has the NUMBER 7 pump, and not the NUMBER 6 pump? It will make noise as the turbine floats inside between the pump and billet cover. Sometimes the pumps have #7 listed on the outside. They always have them listed on the inside, but that's moot as you're not going to open it up.
I'd feel good about installing it. Just make sure you have good tires, hehe.
