Default Yank - SS4000 or Pro Eliminator 4200 or PT4000

I'm confused as to what would be best for my application. I'm going to call Yank later today but figured I'd get some opinions anyways.

I currently have a Vigilante 3200, but I am moving up to a larger converter and feel from what I have read that the efficiency of the Yank is an improvement in the higher stall arena 4000+ over the Vigilante.

Right now I am looking to run all motor with my LT1 that will be turning to about 6800, maybe 6900 RPM shifts. I may spray in the future, not sure yet.. if I do, max of 175-200 shot.

SS4000 has an STR of 2.6, along with the Pro Eliminator (which is new, has anyone run this yet?).. both of them 245mm converters. What's the difference b/w these, the PE seems to have an extra h/d race clutch and a tougher cover?

The PT4000 is advertised as a "race" lockup converter.. what's the difference?

My goal is to have a good "hit" at the launch but retain efficiency at top end.. which of these would do the trick? The car is not a daily driver, sees maybe 5k miles on the street a year (probably less).

Just spoke to Dave at Yank. For my particular application he recommended the PT4000, I need to think over one detail this evening and will most likely be ordering by tomorrow Thanks for the information so far Yank.

I'm going to hold off on spray for a while, and concentrate on my motor goals... if I decide to concentrate on spray later I may just switch stalls.

Now I need to decide on a tire to run.

You'll be happy with it. I'm very pleased with mine. If you ever do decide to spray, you can send it back and get it re stalled. Plus they'll go through it and tell you any repairs that my need to be done. Thats what I like about Yank. If you ever have any problems, it can be fixed fast, realitively cheap and you'll know your getting a good product.
