Default 4l80e bottom converter cover part

where can i get one of these? will a turbo 400 one fit?

what are my options? thanks.

i think a th400 fits...i never used one...figured it kept the converter cooler

If you're bolting this 4L80E up to an LS engine get a cover off something like a 2004 van that came with a 4L80E. These bolt right up to the trans and the bottom two bolts on the engine.

I picked mine up at speedengineering.. Not as cheap at the one posted above but it works damn good. I wish all trans would come with a removable bottom half.

is that one cast aluminum and bolts to the engine too 12 sec ss? picture?

i wonder if my dealership would carry that number

If I were looking for one I'd go to the dealer and ask for one for a 2004 GMC savana 2500 with a 4.8.
Thats what my work van is and it has the cover that bolts the 4L80E to an LS engine. It's not just a dust cover.

update, the p/n 12sec ss posted is sheet metal (15000206) NOT cast aluminum. i was very dissapointed when i went to pick it up.

the correct part number for the oem cast aluminum 4l80 converter cover is...
