A buddy of mine recently dyno'd his blown 396 LT1 before and after the 9 inch install just for curious reasons...

I was wondering the same. Just bought a '94 chassis that I'm going to put my 98 LS1 into (wrecked the 98 at the track) and it already had a 9" in it. What a heavy piece!
