Default 1994 4l60e compatibility Question

Hi, I have a Performance 4l60e transmission on my 1994 trans am GT and want to know if this can bolt on to a 95-97 TA or Z28. Any info would be great. Thanks

it will bolt in fine,, but the 94 uses on/off for the tcc apply,, the 95 and newer use pwm(pulse width modulated) signal for the tcc apply

you would need to use a 94-95 pcm flashed/re-programmed with a 94 bin file and i think there is 1 wire that may need to be changed at the trans harness

The 93-94 do not use the pwm for the lockup. The 95 unit and it's electronics are a year all of their own. 96 and later are all interchangeable as far as the electronics are concerned for 96 and later vehicles. You will need the ECM of the vehicle to match the year of the transmission. Good luck Vince.
