I am going to cam my 01 A4 here pretty shortly. I am probally going to get the TR 234. Do I need to stall it or what? I have only had 6spd cars. If I need to stall it what size and what kind. Its a everyday car so no monsters.

 

yes, to get the most out of that cam u will....

most people do a 3600 stall with a cam.

check out vigilante or yank converters (both are excellent)

 

yeah i would go withh a yank.... right now they are havin a sale and any ss converter comes with a free transcooler (a must when gettin a converter so your trans doesnt burn up quick) but yeah i would get atleast a 3600 depending if this is your dd or not.

 

cam and whether or not you are using nitrous would dictate stall selection. with that cam id think you would need at least a 3500 stall

 

yes get a stall..im drving my car rite now..with cam, and no stall...tends to want to push through the breaks.. cant get a good break stand going cuz the brakes wont hold... and it takes time to get into ur powerband without the stall...
