Default Converter prob i think???!!!!

I just got my 4l60e rebuilt about 4 months ago. When i put it back in i also put a TCI torque converter stall (not sure around 3400) in. Recently when i go to overdrive and i let off and then give it like 1/4 throttle the whole car starts to shudder(it feels like im running over reflecters). This problem seems to be getting worse and ocassionally it will make a horrible noise. Im not sure but me and my friends think it has to do with the lock up since when the prob happens my torque converter is locked up. Im also wondering if this can damage my tranny? Any one else had this problem before? Thanks in advance

Sounds like you have a converter clutch issue , And yes if the converter clutch fails it can put metal throughout the trans and cause damage .
thanks

i just had a new clutch put in it. Its gotta be the lockup. Either way im taking that POS out and putting the stock one back in. Hopefully no damage was done to the tranny.
