Torque Converter Rebuilder? Does anybody in Houston or surrounding cities no where I can have a torque converter rebuilt/modified with very quick turnaround? I have an aftermarket converter for a C5 and I need it modified to fit an F-body. Temporary fix for Super Chevy. Yank soon!!!!
Re: Torque Converter Rebuilder? I would be very reluctant to have anybody local respline, realign, and resize an expensive torque converter. Sell your C5 converter for it's highest value and buy a used Yank or Vig. There are some for sale in Houston. What do you need?

Re: Torque Converter Rebuilder? You might want to check Mike at Century Automotive. He's awesome at doing work on our trannys but I'm not sure if he does torque converter work. Call him and find out, I found that everybody recommended him to me for tranny work.

Re: Torque Converter Rebuilder? I had Trans King do my 8" converter, they are in Galveston. Its been a while since I had it done but they did it while I was there waiting. I watched them do all the work. As far as quality/reliabilty etc. goes my car ran 9.60@138 and went 1.30 in the 60ft with a 1.76 glide and 4.30 gear #3280. No problems at all with the setup.
