Default Ordered a VIG3200 last week...

Well last week i ordered a VIG3200, B&M cooler and a Transgo shift kit...

Now i'm not sure if i should have the shift kit put in or not....so should i or not?
Also IF i do..what setting should i put it at?(race, heavy duty, etc.)
IF i don't...should i use HPP3 or something like that and up the line pressure or something?

Thanx alot!:worship:

i never used one with my vig3600, but i road in a car with the same setup+shift kit and the car shifted harder under normal driving.. But WOT there really wasnt any difference.

It just mainly gets rid of the sloppyness under normal driving in my opinion

So under WOT it doesn't really make a difference?
What about on the highway when you mash it...does it help out?
Also when crusing on the highway or whenever does it help it lock up?

Thanx a ton in advance!

the Transgo will firm up your shifts at part throttle but your stall will tame it down a little. It will be more noticable under WOT. I use the all three washers and love it, definatly do it.

It works at WOT and part throttle.

I'd put it in. If you are concerned that it will be too harsh, use a medium setting.

What about chirping at part throttle? I'm about to being getting a torque converter and shift kit with 3 washers installed on my car and want to know what I can expect.

I just used HPPIII at 100% firmness. Shift alot harder IMO. I really noticed it when I took it off after a long time and the shifts were really loose, and I was like, "whats wrong with my car???"
