I am running the SS4000 with light mods and running what I think are pretty good numbers for a stock trim car with no weight reductions to speak of. I am running 3.23's and my car drives just fine. I had a Vig 3200 in my previous car and the SS4000 really does not feel any different until I start to get into the throttle. I would not get to caught up in running your friends from a roll...1/4 mile starts from a dead stop. If you plan to spray the car go with the ss3600. If your gonna stay n/a go with the SS4000...you won't have any regrets.

The SS4000 is an excellent TC and I have had mine for quite some time. The shift extensions are above 5,500 rpm with my 6,600 rpm shift points. With 3.73's out back, the car drives a lot better than any other TC I have used in the past. I have taken care of many M6's from a roll.

i think i found me a Yank SS 4000 stall, with only 2500 miles on it and comes with another restall from a fellow board member. he said it has STR of 2.6 and runs perfectly.
