what's up? I have the sy3500 and I live in new orleans. I have a 99 TA and I like it a lot. I only have 3:23 gears and other small mods. I only have been to the track with it once since I put the stall in and it dropped .3-.5. That was with a SES code tripped. If you don't have yours in maybe I can let you drive mine to see if you like it. Give me and email. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

IMHO, the SY3500 is best for street racing. I too have the SY3500 w. 3.73 gear combo and you can see how I run at the track in my sig with just a cam.
However, if you want a streetable track performer, I would go with the ST3500 or even ST3800. That would lower your 60's and get a better ET. They are a little harder to hook up on the street but with your nittos, this may be the better converter for you... just a thought.

I also run 3.73s+SY3500 and I agree w/ key master, particularly with the cam you're looking at. I do find myself wanting a little more at the track. I love it on the street though...

The SY 3500 is a good street racer. The ST 3500 will be a little better at the track but if you plan on doing gears then it might be a little too much for the street. The best street racer IMO is the PI 3600. I've had about everything and everyone has different tastes. I would definitely try to drive in a car with a SY3500 if you can. If you like it then get it. Just make sure you get a good tranny cooler at the same time to keep everyhting cool.
