tranny problem come help!!!!! ok i baught my car a 2000 trans am a4 with 24000 miles on it havin no idea what was in it but i kept racing my boy who had a stock 1999 a4 tans am and id destroy him and i drove his and the pick up in my was way over his and i found out my car has a 3500 stall but it keeps burning out the solenoids ive had it for 10,000 miles and solenoid A has gone twice why is this happening and what can i do to prevent it o and i am kinda hard on it but still
Solenoids do not go out because your hard on the car , They do not know the difference of power,driving habits or stall. What code are you seting if any ?

its shift solenoid A i cleared the code but when it comes back on ill let u know but the first time it happed i had no first gear it started in second got it fixed my das a mechanic good thing lol and now that happed again i was drivin more than normal and it wouldnt down shift to 1st gear and i saw the check engine light was on but i let it sit for like a day and it drove like normal and today the light popped on again and it said shift solenoid A but the car was driving perfectly normal what the hells up with this thing
You say shift solenoid A but whats the actual code number ?
