Default TH400 guys, I need your help!!!

I am doing the A4-TH400 swap and am ordering the Yank TH400 with the tranny tricker and the opt. driveshaft, a 3600 stall converter along with a Turbo Cheetah shifter and an M6 console, my question is what kind of lines and fittings am I going to need? I saw a Hurst kit at Jeg's for a TH400 swap into an 82-present Camaro/Firebird, please help, also is the Yank DS any good, or should I go with a Denny's?

Major mods are a TNT 150 shot, LT Headers, 3600 stall converter

Hopefully that's the PYE3600 converter you're going with for the nitrous. Otherwise I'd suggest a different converter for it. As far asthe lines and fittings go. If you are going to use an aftermarket tranny cooler (Which I would recommend) Here is what I bought when i did the swap. I went with -6an line for it which is more expensive but i thought it was worth it

TCI Racing tranny cooler jegs pn 890-823800 65.99
-6an 45deg elbow pn 799-610090 qty 2 14.99ea
-6an 90deg elbow pn 799-610160 qty 2 12.99ea
-6an -> 3/8in NPT fitting pn 799-660460 qty 2 4.99
-6an flare union pn 799-660350 qty 2 3.99ea
-6an russel pro flex hose pn 799-660350 15' 62.99

That's all I used. It is pricey but I like the AN fittings alot better than the robber hose and clamps.

Hope this helps ya

Will

yeah Yank kinda limited my choices on the converter, I have a VIG 3200 which stalls really to around 3700 and it is perfect on the gas, dont wanna go with a PY3600E b/c I wanna run N/A too. I already have a B&M tranny cooler, so I would not really NEED any of the extra lines?

How much is the Yank TH400 and convertor? I have an ATI, and they charged $880.00 for the tranny with a manual forward valve body, and $860.00 for a convertor. They made my convertor with the same bolt pattern as the stock LS1 flexplate so I didn't need to drill or buy another one. I also was able to use my stock shifter because of my forward valvebody. You can also use your stock A4 tranny crossmember, but you have to modify it very slightly(I have pics if you want them). If you already are running a cooler, you can use the original lines. Just remember to remove the fittings from your old A4 and screw them into the TH400. The lines will clip in like the old A4.
I had a local guy build my driveshaft.

Good luck,
Tim

the whole kit with tranny tricker, ds, tranny, converter, dipstick, ds safety loop, crossmember, torque arm mount, speedo sensor, flexplate. and some other stuff is like $3400. I know it is expensive but I like getting everything from the same place at one time and not having to look around.
