I ahve a 4l60e in my 95 z28. I just had it rebuilt about 15K ago... Well my car has been sitting up for about 6 months for the winter and now its nice . so i take my care out for a spin and well.. when i get high up in the rpms. like 4-5.5K it starts to slip and it just bounces off the rev limiter. and does not shift. even if i back off it still will not shift. unless it goes way down in the rpms.

THis is ever gear. and it drive perfect when im easy. but i cant even mash the motor. PLEASE HELP.

If the tranny is gone then im upgrading and what should i upgrade to?

ps. it was driving fine when i parked it there.

Well the first thing to do is have it scanned and look at the data stream and see what shifts are bing comanded

 

Well itsnot throwing codes... but like i said i know it WAS ever gear.. the whole thing went out on me last night... so now im buying a new one... i guess you will be hearing from me pretty soon.
