I have done the swap . There was really no info going to an A4 just going from a4 to M6 !!! Guys this is a job , unless someone is willing to swap you thier A4 for your M6 and you two can do it side by side in the same location , I would say just trade your car for an A4 !!!!
Some issues to look for , You must weld a panel in to cover up the hole for the shifter , wiring is a nightmare , Call spertech and get thier kit , It saves you tons of headache , And you must have a A4 computer , other then that is just the macanics of the swap itself which isn't that bad !!!! Have fun !!! BTW , I picked up 4 tenths at the track going to an auto !!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

 

i am switching out 99 cars here. we are switching out the pcms, interior pieces, down to the shifters. also wiring will be a pain, but still it is a true swap.

 

Just pull all his pins out of his harness that are tranny related , I believe there are 13 or 14 , and pin them into your harness , Time consumming but it will work !!! Good luck !
