Default converter vs. tranny life?

Well, I just ordered the G5 cam and a 2800 stall. I was just wondering the side effects of higher stalls on trannys. I was told for daily driving it doesn't harm them much. I don't plan on raping it until I got the $$ for a new tranny, maybe one or two passes just to see my times.

ive been running the vig3600 for roughly 2+ years with no probs at all. I change my fuild/filter about every 7-9k though(thats the key)
