i have a 1998 trans am and i was just wondering what the stock size was i do not have the same converter anymore i have a whole new trans but someone asked me what size it was in a stock and i told him i would check and get back to him

i was told but im not sure its a 100% accurate. 1750 was the number i was told. it seems close to that in my car. it will hold hold 1300 on the brakes and flashes about 1800 so?

Not to just jump in but is that the same for the 2000 C5's as well or did the vettes get a higher stall speed?

Well he asked about the stock size. Its a 12" converter weighing around 50-55lbs. Most aftermarket LS1 converters are 9" but some are 8 and 10 inches weighing between 30-40lbs.
