Default HARDCORE converter question

I have a SS3800 stall in the car now and it wont sixty better than a 1.6. Was thinking of going with a pro thruster 4400 or a pro yank eliminator 4200. Also while im in there was thinking of swapping out the 3.90 for 4.10s.

The prothruster should out 60ft that SS converter big time. It hits extremely hard

depends, the PT line has a 2.7, the SS has a 2.6. I wouldnt say that it would out 60' it big time. i think the issue would lie somewhere else. that cam is also not a low RPM cam. i would bet more 60 lies in the suspension setup.

The PT series is much more aggressive than the SS.
I guarentee if you can hook you will 60" better. I'd get the PT if your staying N/A.

You got the right idea; my stall is high 4000s and I have a 1.44 60 foot. Do a Yank though. And right on with the gears.

I've got a 5800 converter ... if you're going for track times, the looser the converter, the faster you're gonna go. As long as you're not blowing thru it, the car will 60 foot better, and ET better.
