Default How much HP can a 4L60E stand up to?

Anyone have any ideas about how much a A4 can handle for HP, with a Yank SS3600 installed on it?
thanks

Less then 400 rwhp can be done with just a shift kit and tranny cooler. 400-500 rwhp would require a built performance 4L60E (stage 2 or 3). 500-600 rwhp would require a max built 4L65E by someone good like Rossler, FLT or Performabuilt.

Over 600 rwhp would warrent a TH400, Powerglide or 4L80E swap. These are just ball park numbers based on my experience and my research. The key factors for making a 4L60E live are keeping it cool and not reving the motor too high. So for a bolt-on or cam only car a 30K trans cooler, shift kit and shift points at or under 6500 rpm's should help the tranny to last.

Hope that helped.
