would changing to a hotter cam set up change the lock up points on the convert because of the increase in hp and tq thanks

 

Yes, any time you add a dramatic increase in power the converter will become "Looser" than it was due to the motor's ability to just twist it harder...

Also, some cams can cause "Surging" and it feels like the converter can't make up it's mind whether it wants to lock up or what....
