93-vr4+transam sounds like were on the same page. I THINK its the gears. it stalls in town just not of the line. my friend had the same problem when he went to 4.11s he lost almost all of his 3600 stall

i guess so, its the only stalled car i've ever driven so its normal to me. everything else about the converter seems to be on par with what everyone expects though.

and i just went out to check again, i definitely can put it right at 3000 on the brakes without it spinning.

You must have higher gears? 273's or 323's

that is why Im thinking you can pull that high without spinning.

yeah dpw if we had 410 gears we wouldn't even be able to get as high as we are without spinning.... it's the gears..

Its also about how much HP your running. I have a Vigalante 3400 in my ride. When I first put it in It was installed with a small Crane cam and I didn't like the way it ran. It was way too loose for that cam. Later on I installed a TSP Torquer V2 and it was a different car on the highway. The cam complemented the convertor. Like 100 percent different. Now the car was fun to drive.

Well on a side note the more flash the harder the initial impact.

after this weekend of tuning, the conclusion is the gears and a tight str...stock cam and heads. I will wait it out and prolly have it restalled 2.5str
