trying to find a local shop to build me a strong tranny but might end up going with FLP. i am wondering if a built tranny(flp level 4) will shave any ET over a stock tranny. i was seeing a prety good flare(about 500rpm) between shifts on the stocker but i don't know that it was slowing me down any.
stock one is complety shot now, it would be nice to see some ET reduction after spending 2k+

It shifts pretty quick, I think most of the aftermarket transmissions do but I don`t think It will shave any time just like a shift kit doesn`t.
It will hold up to alot though.. how about peace of mind.. will you trade that for time reduction? <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Suprisingly, no. I don't think it will. There have been times when I've rebuilt a slightly slipping tranny or installed a shift kit and made slow shifts turn to lightning but it didn't help the ET or MPH. Doesn't seem right but that's what most people find.
