Yank 3200ss stall???
For a h/c car with a decent cam, a 12 bolt and 3.73's, would a 3200 be a decent stall? I still want it streetable though. Any opinions???

Thats the stall that I have awaiting install once I get the transmission I want. Its supposed to be a great stall thats why I purchased mine, it also depends what your wanting out of your car. If your car is making tons of torque at say 4000rpm, a 4000ss would be your ideal stall speed for your car. I make lots of torque around 4000rpm but don't want to rev to 2800-3000 to get the car to move at a stop light. Just a thought and hope it helps some.

I'm having my SS3200 re-stalled to 3600. 3200 is just too small for my cam. A higher stall will net you better results at the track. The SS series are well known for being tight converters anyway. My 3200 was VERY tight, couldn't hardly tell it was stalled from a stop. I expect the 3600 to be very close. I spoke with Yank and they recomended the SS3600 since N2O is in my future plans .. otherwise, I would have went SS4000

I personally have always thought a 3500-3800 stall is a perfect size for most any LS1. I love my 3500 stall, feel it's 100% streetable and if I could do it again I would have gone 4,000
