I have an '02 SS and want to go to a tougher tranny. Everyone on my end of town runs a turbo350, but i have been told by some old timers that a TH350 is really not that tough. What to do, I was given one by a family member, i was gonna rebuild it and use it but is it worth it? HELP!

 

A 350 can be built to be VERY tough. Mine holds up to my 9 second ride with ease.

For serious strength you'll want to upgrade to the 400 sprag assembly.
