SS3600 vs PI3200 driveability results
Soon I hope to get some full throttle and extension comparison when the 150 mile breakin is complete (I know some think that breakin is BS but I want to make sure my verter is covered by their two year warantee).

The converter is a little tighter around town (that's for sure). And moves along pretty good from a stop light, with the same throttle input as before (improvement to my ***, you might not care).
The extension on my combo is 5300rpm on the 2-3 shift. So, 100 more than before (no biggie). But, I can shift all the way down to 6300 and it will still carry the same shift extension..My old VIG's extension rpm would drop as the shift rpm dropped. And, I had to run the VIG up to 6900 rpms to drop down to 5200 on the extension.
Still not sure what the flash rpm is going to be...The VIG ran 1.52 sixty (first time out last year and no suspension tuning) on my stock weight combo and it flashed to 4400 or so rpm. Don't think the Yank is going to see over 4200 and maybe less....Time will tell when I get to the strip again...
So, there it is ...VIG3200 or YankSS3600....Had them both, and they both perform very well for me...Your choice, not much difference except as noted...On my combo, the Yank seems to perform better but that's combo specific for sure....and I have not takin it to the races yet this year to verify ET and mile an hour
The VIG still might out shine their.....? Although that does seem higher than it should be. Are you completely full on fluid? The shift extension is only supposed to be 4800 give or take and you are 500 over that. Also the flash stall on the 3600, should be 3600 with a +/- 100 variation for slight motor/weight differences. If you have a different motor in there or a lot of extra weight though that will change things.
As far as extension yes, my motor always adds about 400 to the flash and extension, the higher RPM shift adds the rest
