Do u guys think I'll need tuning on a 2800 to 3000 stall?I would think the stock LU MPH (38) would be fine for such a low stall application,I could see adjusting part throttle shift points alittle bit,trans go shift kit,bumping the line psi up a a smidge and removing tq management but I would think I wouldnt need to up my lu mph?

This car is a bolt on car with NO cam,heads or internal mods..
Just boltons...

 

Shouldn't need tuning. I ran my 4000 stalls with low LU speeds to avoid the looseness. I know you remember the days when tuning was a HPP3 and all you fixed was WOT. Plenty of us, including you, ran bigger converters than a 2800.

 

I needed it with my 4K stall, but I would think with a converter that small you should be alright.

 

You should be fine , I mean no one can say with absolution , PCMs are strange one dosent mind a 3500 another will make the trans act all kinds of crazy with a 3000 PO757 Etc. But most likley at 2800 you will be ok
