OD isssue When it shifts into OD it goes in for a second then jumps back out and then into OD... IE 1st, 2nd, 3rd... OD... 3rd... OD then its fine... till I slow it back down and it does it again. The tranny was built about 2K miles ago and has billet vette servos, shift kit, 3-3.5K stall.. The guy I bought it from said the tranny builder said its the PCM from being tinkered with from the previous owner and it needs reflashed at the dealer.
I did experiment and if I leave it in 3rd and when I get up to 45-50mph and manually shift into OD it stays in and don't kick down then back in.

could be the pcm when you manual shift it basically goes off the manual valve and then the shift solenoid catches up with the manual position........you need to see what the pcm is commanding what gear is being commanded when it is going back and forth....
Agreed, see what the PCM is doing first.
