How neccesary is a TA cover with installing 4.10s???
I'm thinking about getting some gears, wither 4.10s or 3.73s... I dont know if getting a stud kit and the TA cover is worth getting... Let me know what you guys think/know!

It's an absolut waste of money. If you're going to break your gears, you're going to break your gears. The cover does absolutely nothing. Same with the stud kit.

4.10's have such small teeth compared to 3.42's or 2.73's, etc. . .

Well lets put it this way, what can it hurt? Nothing, so any insurance at all is better than none. Buy a used one like I did for 50 or so and use it. Looks good also <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
