I figured what you had said would be great for everyone as a whole in most cases. if you like I can take that part out. I save all kinds of stuff like that you (as in the more educated and knowing folks) tell me and use it to help others.

I think we had said I was looking for soft shifts around town but a ncie ahrd hit at WOT where a 3k stall wont be slipping. if thats what I want, woild you do the 1/4 turn still or no?

do you have too tear the trans completely down for this kit.
can you manually shift after install of this kit. and does the trans shift when you actually shift it.... like a manual valvebody set up.

To install the entire kit you would have to tear the unit completly down however you can install the majority of it simply by removing the pan and valve body. The kit will allow you to hold down gears as long as you like however upshits are still PCM controlled, In other words if you shift from 1-2 manually at 2000 RPM at WOT the trans will still not upshift to second untill the programed RPM ussually something above 5000 rpm

Thanks for the info, the reason i was asking is this piece of *^%$ trans i have is bouncing off the rev limiter on th 2-3 shift on spray. would it be beneficial just to up the shif point, it does fine on the motor.

performabuilt and FLT should put supercharged bigblocks on each of their trannies and bolt the tailshafts together and see who survives!

Decisions, decisions! I need one and can't make up my mind.
