Default converter question???

When picking a converter (and i'm new to them) which is better to have the shift extension (?) at? your peak hp or peak tq on shifts? i have a 2800 stall right now. When i mash it, it jumps up to about 3500 then shifts @ 6k...thne drops back to around 4k or so. my peak Tq comes in at about 3500-3800 or so but the peak Hp is around 6k. just curious if i might benefit from a higher stall converter that will stay around 5k or so on shifts?

Default Re: converter question???

I'd consider a Yank 3500. That would be ideal for stock to a mild cam.
