Any help for A4 to M6 swap???
I am the sad owner of an A4 car and am pulling my hair out in frustration. I would love to sell my car and get a new one with a M6 but owe too much on the loan to do that. So, it looks as though a swap is in order. Anyone that has experience or reasorces to help me with this I'd love to hear from.
In the process of doing an A4 to M6 swap in my 1999 WS6. Found someone willing to trade. We are swapping harnesses as well. You will need to cut a hole for the shifter, and drill holes for the clutch hydraulics, the rest of the pedal assembly bolts up the same as the A4. The harness is pretty easy right now for me b/c my engine bay is empty but not for long... Let me know if you have any questions.
we can keep this thread going. me and Stu's WS6 are doing the swap right now. great winter project.
i think it would be too hard to find everything you need unless you have someone to do the complete swap. it is not as easy as just pulling tranny and mounts. wiring harness is a ****.

Dash removal is required for the body harness to be swapped, I finished mine last night. Just about every interior panel has to come out of the car, but most are easy to remove. The Dash is a excuse me, I just looked at my WS6 spread out on my basement floor.
