just talked to ron at vengeance racing and he suggested not putting a stall in it. He said they suck to drive... lol everyone i talk to says something diff. he said i should just throw slightly deeper gears 3.23s or 3.42s and not touch the converter. whats you guys opinion on this?

Well I would get at least 2800 - 3000 rpm stall and some 3.23s or 3.42s out in. It won't be that bad on the street and you will notice a hugh gain at the track. My car ran 8.5's stock at the local 18th mile track. I put my 3200 stall in and it ran 8.0s with no other mods. It will take a little to get used to but after a while you will get used to it. It will also help keeping you car in the power band of the cam you are talking about getting. A stall is not going to hurt you as long as you don't get too crazy(large) with it. My stall was one of the best bang for the buck mods that I ever did on my car. Nitrous was the second best.

yeah im kind of torn, i dont really race it at the track. i really dont race it at all, i just want to be able to blow off one a gto or mustang if hes revvin at me. the vengeance guy said anyone who says they daily drive a 3800 and it aint bad is full of ****. im really into building a fast car that can handle. im also worried a stall will make it difficut to manage leaving the late apex of turns if it breaks me loose and sends me into oversteer

Well I drive my car everyday and it doesn't bother me one bit it does take some getting used to. If you're going to get a cam you need to get a small stall. I think you should have bought a M6 car you would have been much happier that.

is this guy serious i drive a yankss 4000 and love driving mine on the street. DD mine everyday. That guy must hate his 4000 stall turbo 350
Coming out of a corner is going to be different but its going to be like driving a new car but you will get use to it.
I vote for a 32,34,3600 stall

hehe yeah, i kind of want one i hate not being able to jump hard from a roll at 40, that flash would be nice, thinkin ill go conservative and go 3200, been told my 2.73s might suck and i think maybe he was suggesting the gears over the stall to keep drivability but get my rpms cruising at 60 up to avoid the cam surging still a tough call haha im gonna talk to some torque con
makers and see whats up
