m6-4l80e swap (shifter problems) I pulled a shifter and cable from a 02 camaro with a v6. I bought a lever and bracket for the 4l80e to mount it. I dont know if the v6 cables are different but the stupid thing is too short. when i pull to shift down from park it doesnt work. when the shifter is in first theres no way it will ever connect to the lever.
thoughts? V6 cable to short?I mounted the cable on the side of the trans where the plug goes in. Did i do something wrong?
