Default ST3500 and 100 wet shot

I am running a ST3500 and a TNT F1 wet kit with 100 jets installed. My question is, I think I am blowing thru the convertor at the top of the shifts even after letting off the spray before the shifts, is the ST3500 designed to handle a 100 shot of N2O? If not would I be better off with a Pro Series? Maybe a 4000 range convertor?

The ST3500 has plenty of holding capacity, even for a 150 shot. You may be experiencing the torque limits of your tranny, but not that converter. It rocks on the spray. Ran 10.60s with it on the juice.

I think it maybe more of a shifting problem now that I think of it, because the car flat out moves under the spray it just has a huge delay in the shift from 2nd to 3rd. Could it be a line pressure problem? Maybe time for a shift kit?

Try lowering your shift points on the spray. A shift kit would help too.

It should handle a 100 shot w/o problem. I think Patrick G use to spray 150 on it.
