Let's at least tell people the whole story here. If you aren't willing to address Pulse Width Modulation, or don't understand what it is and does, it isn't surprising if it wipes a converter clutch. It is unfortunate that if you don't know the difference, it can seem like converter failure. We offered to upgrade the converter, as the larger clutch in the HP/Street series can absorb the pulses sent by the transmission, but you didn't seem interested. I have talked to the purchaser of your converter, and he seems more willing to address the transmission problems responsible for PWM.

ooh come on guys dont tell me that only fuddle had a stalls problems while all

of other companys make super stall that will last forever???

all of the companys had a bad times and rebuild errores, a freind of mine had

a TCI and blew it up in first run another one with VIG it wasnt lockin at all

and i read here too many guys also had a problem with some YANK stalls,

but that doesnt mean that the company doesnt made a good stalls?its always

persentage % fact ,if the company will made a 80 successfull stall and blew

other 20 so the company will be rated as a good builder.

and dont blame everything on the company while some of us here pick the

wrong choise of stalls for the wrong setup, then start whining about it ! .

I was about to pick the wrong choise for me but i found that great service on

fuddle web, they helped me to pick the right choise.

BOTTOM LINE : YANK - FUDDLE - VIG , ALL OF THEM MADE A SUPER CONVERTERS

AND ALL OF THEM DOES HAS A SMALL ERRORS FACTORS . EXAMPLE ( GM) HAS

SOME CARS FACTORY ERRORS AND PROBLEMS IN EACH PRODUCT LINE ???

SO YANK - FUDDLE - VIG , JUST PICK ONE AND ALL OF IT WILL MAKE YOU WINNER.

My buddy has an HP/S fuddle and he is shooting for the 9's on N2O in his Camaro.....no issues on his end either.

I've had my performance fuddle on the german autobahn up to 150MPH...no issues...

You made a good choice.

mine never slipped on the top end.

sounds like you have a real attitude. i have noticed in MANY of your previous posts with us on ls1tech you have bashed this brand of converter. is that your thing? 1.4 60' are certainly impressive!

what does your car run now with brand xxx converter? lets compare apples to apples. and you never answered my question, what does your lawn mower run?

I dont really have an attitude just been really screwed over by the company. The car went 11.5x with the fuddle with a trap speed of 108. I have not been to the track since the new convertor but I have dynoed it and it put down 40 rwhp more N/A over the Fuddle with the exact stall speed and str. Just some food for thought. The deal wouldnt of been as bad if there would of been some customer service to go along with it. I had been running the fuddle for a month and a half before the track pass.

Maybe your trap was low due to STR?...What was the STR?...Im guessing good and high since you knock a deep time, but sorry MPH?..

It seems you have legitimate problem with us. We have sent a pm asking about the situation. We would like to resolve the situation.

As per the 40 hp difference, unfortunately that is simply not how converters work. Something by the new company is misrepresented somewhere. The stall speed/STR determine the efficiency, not the company. There are no magical parts that can offer identical stall speed/STR and increased efficiency.

I recieved the PM and I am very appreciative of that. The new company did not gurantee me that HP thats what the dyno showed. Same dyno, same tune, just different converter. Ur right it could be other contributing factors but the converter was the only thing that was swapped.
