yup.
install a tranny cooler and transgo shift kit and cross your fingers.
could also help to get a tranny temp gauge so you can monitor how hot it gets, and allow it to cool down if necessary.

I'm hoping it will hold up to my cam, currently have close to full bolt on's but once I swap the cam I am gonna try not too launch it very much, if ever. This is the reason why I am going to hold off on the S/C or Heads because I know not only is the trans gonna to go but also the rear end. I wish I could just put on a S/C and not worry at all. I'd have one by now if that were the case. Its an expensive hobby, get ready for **** to break!

i'd almost be willing to bet TM is unnecessary for the 1-2 shift. maybe for everything else it makes sense, but on my stock trans this thing snaps into 2nd so hard, and it has done it so many times. i wish i had time to put the rock-on in, because that big *** band looks like it'll ****** my teeth out on the 1-2 shift.

with an auto, the 10 bolt should hold up ok as long as your not running slicks and beating on it continuously with a cam only setup. but everything is hit and miss... just rmeember once it goes build it right the first time and forget about it.

It is ALL hit and miss. I have a 400 rwhp cam only car spinning to 6600 rpms with no torque management and I've had ZERO problems. Keep the tranny cool and hope you have a well built 4l60e.

DO NOT remove torque management on a stock tranny. I learned the hard way, mine died within a couple weeks with roughly 330hp/330tq.
Installing a Performabuilt Level II tranny tomorrow.
