How do i get the converter off IF..... How do i get the converter off if i locked the motor up? I have a TH400 can i pull the trans away from the converter without having to twist?

Re: How do i get the converter off IF..... hm yeah well you can try to pull the tranny back far enough it might clear the converter. if that wont work then i dont have any ideas. cause there are at least 3 bolts that hold converter to the flex plate. and those are in equal distance from each other. so maybe you can get to one of them but no way you can get all of them with out turning the motor or pulling the trans back and hoping it will clear the converter.
