Could be a restricted cooler, You can check flow from both sides of the cooler circuit. If memory serves me correctly, the front cooler line is the supply to the cooler and the rear is the return. Pull one at a time and check it coming out of the tranny and then after the cooler. You should get at least a quart in 15-20 seconds. If the supply is a pumping more than it is a restricted cooler.

The bad news is that if this is your problem, something is porbably coming apart in your tranny or converter.

I feel your pain. I just had a performance shop install a B&M cooler and a 3200 Vig single disc converter with a Cobalt trans temp gauge. My temps were 200-210 in traffic and then the tranny started to make a grinding sound when I would hit the gas from a stand still. (only 50 miles on the over haul!!!) The converter will be for sale soon so keep an eye out for it. WAY too loose for my taste. My car sounds like its going 80 mph when I'm really doing 15. HAHAHA Going back to a stock converter. I don't have time to send it back to PI for a restall & have my daily driver down for days. Time is money & I don't have the time. I hope you get your problem fixed. Sam

I hope that isn't the case.
