01 Suburban - Neutral Switch Location
01 Suburban - Neutral Switch Location 2001 suburban, 4WS, 1500 series, auto trans, 120K miles ...... anyone know where the neutral safety switch is located?? is this one the trans, or is it electronic and located under the dash somewhere?
when putting the trans into "park", sometimes the dash indicator only moves to the "R" slot and the truck won't restart due to the neutral safety switch.

The neutral safety switch must be able to energized when in Park or Neutral.
If Park can not be selected, as has been mentioned, the circuit will not be completed.
Adjust the linkage and if there is play in the linkage, remove it.
