For Those With Tci Flexplate Please Help

converter issues I didn't read all of this thread but thought I would bring this up ! If you are takeing out a manual trans and installing an automatic in any thing you need to remove the pilot bearing/bushing . It could cause problems if still in the crank !!!

converter spun freely when i had trans on. trans was like a flathead screwdriver apart from block. then i tighten all the bolts trans came snug on motor.now the TC is a lil harder to turn over.but there is still ascrewdrivers lengthbetween converter and flexplate. SO am i good to put this thing together???

converter spun freely when i had trans on. trans was like a flathead screwdriver apart from block. then i tighten all the bolts trans came snug on motor.now the TC is a lil harder to turn over.but there is still ascrewdrivers lengthbetween converter and flexplate. SO am i good to put this thing together???

Chris, the whole issue here is the converter to pump. Not necessarily how easy the converter is to rotate with the tranny bolted to the engine, prior to installing the converter bolts.
I would say you are good to go.

since the TC pilot is now set in the crank, it will be slightly harder to spin. If it's not binding, I think your good to go..
