EDGE converters?
I'll post some feedback in a month or so when it's all in and I have some miles on it.

I had mine built with slightly higher STR for street driving (I think it was somewhere between 2.45-2.5) and don't have a single issue with it. Datamaster shows fairly good efficiency (slip rpm/rpm x100) up to 6000 rpm (about the redline for my car) at about 97%. My 4000lb car usally hits low 1.8s. I've upgraded the suspension this year to more peformance oriented shocks, and hope to drop it it a little.
sometimes any converter can be a hit or miss. My friend's vig he got back is way too loose. The car doesn't even want to creep at all if you take your foot off the brake from a stop. He had it restalled to 3200 rpm IIRC, and logs show it's flashing to 4000 rpm at times. He's taking it out this week, to put a West Coast Converter in(I think it is owned by Edge last time I checked)

Yank is a great brand but is mostly so popular just here on the board.I asked a few hardcore drag racers what they thought of them and they had never herd of Yank.Just shows you that there is more than one or two quality companies.I liked Edges customer service more.He builds custom converters for your car and not just a off the shelf verter according to what your gear ratio is.
My dad has a Yank in his car and he loves it.So just do your homework on the company and you will get a good converter.
Good info
